Our Services
Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Strategy
Nonprofit hospitals are required to conduct Community Health Needs Assessments every three years to maintain their non-profit status. The National Association of County and City Health Officials encourages a collaborative process that involves multiple entities outside the hospital. We can guide your stakeholders through a coordinated effort to learn about pressing needs, gather community input, and provide guidance on evidence-based strategies to improve the health of the people you serve.
Equitable Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Assessment
The field of equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem development has grown significantly in the last decade. In collaboration with Forwards Cities, Community Health Intelligence has a suite of research tools that has been deployed in dozens of communities across the county and refined based on our experience. A 360 degree ecosystem would incorporate all four tools: (1) Business Support Organization Survey, (2) Small Business Owner Survey, (3) Ecosystem Landscape Assessment, and (4) an Economic Indicators Data Dashboard. Results include an index of services available, evidence on the needs of aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners, and evidence on the needs of the ecosystem.
Data Systems Consultation and Development
Administrative data from programs can provide a wealth of information if the data systems are designed with purpose. Data from Public Schools, Child Welfare, and Police can provide guidance on the effectiveness of specific interventions. Impact data from non-profit organizations can drive fundraising efforts. Complex multi-organization efforts can run smoothly when a well-designed data system can streamline communications and record keeping. We can help you get your monitoring and evaluation data systems in place.
Program Evaluation
Many entities invest in programs with the goal of supporting the needs of children and families in their community, but few have the capacity and experience to conduct an unbiased evaluation of the effectiveness of the program. We can guide you through the development of a program evaluation plan, measurement strategy, and SMART metrics to monitor implementation and effectiveness.
